Man, as much as I thought I didn’t like change, you guys fucking hate it, don’t you?
It’s really not that drastic a change. I actually quite like it.
Oh no, wait. There we go. Doesn’t work again. Or at least, when it worked before it might have only been open in safe mode. Might just have to keep opening it that way then.
Hey look at that, iTunes is working again! I’m not sure what I did, but it’s fixed. Just need to go through the arduous task of readding music to it. That’s my evening sorted then!

Rob’s itunes did that not long back, it refused to open and said that he didn’t have permission to access it. He just copied all the music from the computers drive, deleted itunes, closed down computer and installed it again. worth trying?
Yeah that seems to be the general consensus on the issue. I’ll...

Reinstall iTunes?
Yeah I tried that last night and it didn’t work. But I’m not sure I did it properly. I think I’m going to have a go at completely getting rid of anything iTunes related (music and all), then restarting and then reinstalling it. To see if that works. If it doesn’t then...
Turning off my laptop and leaving it overnight didn’t work.
Bugger.
At least Spotify is working, so there’s that I guess.
It’ll be a real fucking pain in the arse if I have to restore my laptop just to get iTunes to bloody work again. I mean, NOTHING is wrong with anything else. I just can’t work it out. It’s pretty annoying.
Ok, so my iTunes won't open.
What a pain.
I was listening to some music earlier on and while it was playing my laptop went into the screensaver or something, only it didn’t quite, and seemed to freeze instead. So I turned it off and on again and it survived that, but now any time I try to open iTunes it just says that it quit unexpectedly before actually opening. Which is quite a ballache. Everything else works fine,...
Tonight, I wish I was watching The Oscars.
bookofpuzzles:
Instead, I’m about to go to bed and will just have to read all about it in the morrow. Again.
Sigh.
Oh shit. The Oscars are tonight.
Not that I was going to watch them, like. But at least I’ll have something interesting to read about on my lunch break tomorrow.
Let me review your band, etc.
popscenesters:
Rob and Matt and I are going to bring back our website Zest For Life and this time it is going to be better than ever, and this time we actually mean that, maybe. Earlier this week, me and Rob kicked around some really good ideas on how to just make it in to something we actually want to do, and we’re all meeting up on Tuesday to discuss it. The best thing is, it’s actually made...
You know those days where you can think of a hundred things that you could do with your time, but nothing that you actually want to do?
Kind of annoying, aren’t they?
Goddamn uTorrent is being a pile of useless tonight. I just want to watch the new Walking Dead and Eastbound and Down but I don’t want to have to wait until next week to do it.
IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?
Jesus.
I’m hoping it hears my whining and gets a fucking wriggle on. That’d be nice.
Killing me won't bring back your goddamned honey.

At first I was a little bit iffy, because it didn’t sound like Chamberlain Waits, but after a few listens, the new Menzingers record is pretty awesome. Not sure if it’s quite as good as it’s predecessor, but then that album is just fucking flawless. This does come very close though.
“And Saha, who scored two goals in 20 games for Everton this season prior to his move to north London, made it two in 20 minutes at White Hart Lane for Spurs with another cool finish.”
How is this a thing that could happen? It’s about as inexplicable as Yakubu’s baffling record for Blackburn, or the decision to sell Beckford at all.
Not that I mind, like. Now that...
DENIS STRAQUALURSI!
DENIS STRAQUALURSI!
NA NAAAA NAAA NA!
Making plans for what you could spend your money on when you win the lottery is a good, fun way to spend the evening until the sudden, inevitable realisation hits you that, even if you did buy a ticket every week, chances are that you will never win the lottery, and if you do, it won’t be more than a tenner anyway. But still you make those plans anyway because you never know. You hear...

Farts of the Crimean War
fuckingbookdeal:
(via fuckingbookdeal)
LOOK HOW FUNNY THIS IS.
OH GOD.
I just remembered about ‘Farts of the Crimean War’. That was fucking hilarious.
I’ve narrowed it down to The Usual Suspects (me and Dave were talking about it the other day and I can’t remember the last time I watched it), Seven (Se7en?) and Inception.
I’m not doing anything tomorrow, it’s still moderately early. Tempted to attempt a triple feature. That’ll be a fun way to spend my evening, won’t it?
I know you’re all jealous of my...
I have no idea what film I want to watch tonight. Like, no idea at all. I can’t work out if I’m in the mood for a comedy, or a horror, or an action flick. No clue. I’ve bounced from Scott Pilgrim, to Hot Fuzz, to Inception, to Up in the Air, to pretty much every film I’ve got. It’s getting to the point where whatever I choose will probably be the wrong choice.
So.

Totally blazed through Season 1 of Breaking Bad...
It’s pretty good, like. Need to get Season 2, but have a feeling any torrent I get will max out my download limit for the month, so I’ll probably have to wait.
Proof reader for hire
musicandalike:
I have decided to offer my services as an Undergraduate essay/dissertation proof reader. I’ve got great credentials: I graduated with a first in Music Journalism and Media last summer, and I got a mark of 82 for my dissertation. These days I’m the Features Editor at Croon, so I’m very used to proof reading and editing.
I will provide feedback, separate notes, as well as the basic...
Fuck.
It’s the Superbowl tonight isn’t it?
Considering I don’t give a flying fuck about it I guess I should just stay off Tumblr for a day or two. Unless I want play by play descriptions of what’s happening. Wait, who am I kidding? Nobody describes anything here do they? It’s just play by play reblogs and pictures of what’s happening isn’t it?
At least...
I think I might go out to the shop, partly to get some lonely meals for one for the next couple of days, but also because I don’t believe that it did actually snow. I’m starting to think that it’s either a conspiracy or a massive practical joke that I’m not in on.
Of course, this plan could be kaput if I find out that I don’t actually have any money.
I might start...
Wow. The ‘new look’ BBC Football page really is fucking horrible isn’t it? Not only that but their ‘live feed’ of what’s going on in the football has got a shiteside worse. Apparently nothing is happening anywhere. Now unless it really is that dull a weekend, I don’t really believe that.
My week and a half off of work officially starts...
This is going to be sweet.
It’s weird that spending my Saturday afternoon refreshing the BBC football coverage and watching it not snow very much and certainly not settle on the ground seems like a really bloody appealing way to spend to rest of the day.
The Football Association is set to remove the England captaincy from John Terry, the BBC has learned.
You mean again? For the second time? Someone has been that much of a gobshite that they need to have the captaincy taken from them twice? Surely that would be enough for him to get kicked off the team? But nooooo. It’s John Fucking Terry. England International. Heaven forbid the FA dole...
